This building sits at a pivotal intersection as the northern gateway to Sarasota. It's glossy blue tiles gleam in the Florida sun reminding us all of why we love living here. This building is a classic Mid-century Modern designed by a distinguished member of the Sarasota School of Architecture, Victor Lundy. Lovingly referred to as "The Blue Pagoda" the building is surrounded by lush Floridian vegetation and contributes to a large new public park development by the City of Sarasota. The pagoda-style roof shape is iconic. Any visitors to Sarasota will surely remember this structure long after their vacation ends.
