The Emergency Operations Center was developed to effectively manage local emergencies and catastrophic events happening in and around St. Lucie County. The 27,000 SF facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology equipment, fiber optics and back-up emergency power. The center, built to withstand winds of up to 200 mph, includes an operations room, 911 call center, individual sleeping quarters for the EOC staff, multi-purpose room, four conference rooms, fully equipped kitchen and spaces for media briefing.
