"The award consisted of five separate projects including a new replacement 16,000 square foot Fire Station and EOC facility, a new 8,000 square foot Community Center, a new 3,500 square foot Public Works Administration building, remodeling of the existing Public Works building, and addition to the existing Library facility. More specifically, the new Fire Station/EOC facility and completed in 2022, is a two-story category V structure with the first-floor housing administrative offices, crews’ quarters, dining and dayroom areas, meeting spaces, and a three-bay apparatus area in a total area of 12,892 square feet. The second floor includes multi-purpose meeting spaces to be used as the city’s Emergency Operations Center, smaller break-out spaces, a warming kitchen, restrooms, and mechanical spaces in approximately 5,200 square feet."
