Architect Roy France designed The National, which is a classic Art Deco hotel and has been in Miami Beach since 1940. The 14-story building houses 116 rooms with views of the city and the ocean. France was inspired by Florida’s sun and fresh air and sought to allow as much of both in as possible. The National also features a 205-foot-long lap pool.
