The United States Tennis Association (USTA) has one mission: to promote and develop the growth of tennis. Located at Lake Nona in Orlando, FL., the USTA National Campus serves as the “Home of American Tennis.”
The groundbreaking facility is on 65-acres with 100 tennis courts and is designed to enhance the sport at every level and create an unparalleled playing, training, coaching and educational experience for recreational players, competitive players, coaches and spectators.
Leisure youth programs are committed to developing the athlete, player and person in a dynamic environment. Through a progressive pathway, players will be challenged to reach their full potential and most importantly, have fun and develop a passion for tennis.
Competitive programs focus on technique, shot selection, patterns of play, physical conditioning and skills to deal with pressure tolerance will be emphasized. High definition cameras on the courts, records, stream and track everything that happens, delivering cutting-edge analysis to athletes on the courts contributing to innovative athlete development.
“This place really is the future of tennis, not just American tennis,” says Kurt Kamperman, the USTA’s chief executive for community tennis and the USTA National Campus. “We’d like this to be for the next generation of tennis players, as well as the last generation.”
