Pembroke Pines City Center

Pembroke Pines City Center

Pembroke Pines

Built in 2017.

Designed by Cartaya and Associates Architects.

This City Center is a development that blurs the line between those who govern and those who are governed. Anchored by a major plaza, the three surrounding buildings house a city hall, performing arts facility, commission chambers and art museum providing residents a true pedestrian town center to visit; one where they can meet with their elected representatives, play with their children in the plaza, attend seasonal celebrations, attend an art performance for up to 3,500 people in an acoustically designed auditorium, attend high school graduations, enjoy a banquet for up to 1,000 people or visit an art museum. The whole complex was designed using green practices and good neighbor context. It has created an iconic center for the community and a beacon of good governance. The whole complex was designed using green practices and good neighbor context.
