This Art Deco hotel in Miami Beach’s Faena District was originally the Greenbrier Hotel. Built in 1940, it was designed by architect L. Murray Dixon who gave several of South Beach’s hotels their curvilinear design. The building was converted to condos in the 90s and then fell into disrepair. After a recent renovation, the Palihouse Miami Beach now has 71 oversized rooms with kitchenettes. As it was being updated, the designers blended classic and contemporary elements to create a highly eclectic interior. The hotel features Greenbrier Swim & Social, a restaurant surrounding a pool.
