Pensacola Grand Hotel

Pensacola Grand Hotel

Built in 1912.

The original building, where the Pensacola Grand Hotel now is, was built in 1912 on the site of the Louisville & Nashville railroad passenger depot, replacing the 1882 L&N Union Station. The building was vacant for a decade, beginning in 1971, until developers purchased it and added a 15-story glass tower. During the revitalization, as much of the building's original materials as possible were restored and used, including the French clay tile roof, the ceramic mosaic tile floors and marble. The beautiful historic 15-story hotel has 200 guest rooms, a lobby, lounges, a restaurant, a bar, shops, meeting rooms and a ballroom. Located in the heart of downtown Pensacola, the Gulf's emerald waters are just eight miles away.
